Kera is an Illawarra based artist living and working surrounded by the bush she loves at the foothills of Mount Keira Art has always been a major influence in Kera’s life having previously worked as a special effects makeup artist, milliner and children's book illustrator.

Kera’s current artistic practice has seen her focus on subjects from nature (in particular native florals) using colour and lots of juicy texture to celebrate their natural beauty.  She loves nothing more than playing with the beautiful forms and colours that nature provides. Her art is made from a place of enjoyment and exploration with the hope that viewers can take fun and joy from her unique approach. 

Currently Kera's works out of her open studio at The Timber Mill in Bulli. She is actively involved in multiple exhibitions throughout the year at local Illawarra venues as well as participating in The Other Art Fair, Barrangaroo in December 2022.
