Aleisha is a self-taught artist from Yeppoon, QLD—a laid-back coastal town near the Tropic of Capricorn. Her work brings a bold, grounded energy to the gallery, shaped by the land and experiences that influence her.

Growing up on a farm, Aleisha built a steady connection to nature early on. That connection has always driven her creativity. After high school, she followed another route, but art stuck with her. Over time, she explored everything from metalwork and jewellery making to eventually landing back on painting—where things just clicked.

Her work is layered, raw-edged, and often sparked by the places she’s explored, the tropical environment she calls home, and the everyday rhythm and unpredictability of raising two little boys. She’s constantly testing ideas, letting her tools and instincts steer the direction
